Nature Inspired Healing

I love bringing the outdoors into the work we do together. Sometimes that looks like planting or caring for plants, and other times it’s as simple as taking a slow walk outside, stretching, or doing a few gentle yoga moves.

These moments in nature give us a chance to pause, breathe, and notice what’s happening inside and around us. Whether you’re getting your hands in the soil or moving your body in the fresh air, these practices can help ease stress, lift your mood, and create space for reflection.

Blending these nature-based activities with counseling lets us care for your whole self, so healing feels natural and grounded.

Horticulture-Based Practices

At Healing Through Words, I weave horticulture-based practices into counseling to bring the healing power of nature into your journey.

These approaches such as planting, tending a garden, or creating plant-inspired art, help ground you in the present, reduce stress, and foster emotional resilience. I draw from evidence-informed techniques to support your growth and renewal through nature’s natural rhythms.

Holistic Therapy

I believe healing happens when we tend to the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Holistic therapy means we explore emotional, physical, social, and spiritual wellness, not just symptoms, to help you build lasting balance.

In my practice, you’ll find a safe, compassionate space where all parts of you are honored and integrated into the work we do together.
