Nature Inspired Healing
I love bringing the outdoors into the work we do together. Sometimes that looks like planting or caring for plants, and other times it’s as simple as taking a slow walk outside, stretching, or doing a few gentle yoga moves.
These moments in nature give us a chance to pause, breathe, and notice what’s happening inside and around us. Whether you’re getting your hands in the soil or moving your body in the fresh air, these practices can help ease stress, lift your mood, and create space for reflection.
Blending these nature-based activities with counseling lets us care for your whole self, so healing feels natural and grounded.

Nature-Based Therapy
At Healing Through Words, nature is much more than a backdrop; it’s an active, healing partner. Nature-based therapy integrates meaningful experiences outdoors, sensory engagement with the earth, and reflective movement to support emotional, spiritual, and embodied growth.
This approach incorporates:
-
Guided mindfulness and grounding in natural spaces
-
Embodied awareness through texture, sound, and movement
-
Storytelling and reflection woven into seasonal and environmental rhythms
-
Growth, transformation, and identity explored through connection with nature

Here, healing happens through connection to self, to community, and to the world around us.
Holistic Therapy
I believe healing happens when we tend to the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Holistic therapy means we explore emotional, physical, social, and spiritual wellness, not just symptoms, to help you build lasting balance.
In my practice, you’ll find a safe, compassionate space where all parts of you are honored and integrated into the work we do together.
